AR/VR technologies have the potential to grow and enable more valuable interactions between enterprises and their customers. How can we apply AR technologies to improve how Spectrum interacts with its customers and troubleshoots, more specifically around the self-install kit for wireless routers and modems, cable models, and video set up box?
In collaboration with the NYU Ability Project, graduate students conducted research centered around improving the accessibility of Charter/Spectrum’s home entertainment products and services. A user-centered approach was embraced to identify user pain points and develop solutions that meet their needs.
In a hackathon organized by NBCUniversal and NYC Media Lab, over 2 dozen teams worked across 2 prototyping tracks to help design technology solutions for real-world problems. By supporting nonprofits, social entrepreneurs, and community organizations, and by using the power of media and technology to benefit the communities we serve, we can help solve important social issues.
