NYC Media Lab gathered a group of media and technology executives and researchers for a conversation on blockchain. What is the all the hype? What can the technology realistically achieve? The group discussed how blockchain and cryptoeconomics can transform the way content is created, consumed, protected and paid for, and what types of initiatives exist in the space. The purpose of the roundtable was to develop a shared understanding of this new technology, and explore how representatives from across the media industry can collaborate on shared visions.
