Please join Parsons School of Design at The New School for a one-day symposium about the explosion of affordable virtual and augmented reality technologies. The event will take a critical look at the impact of new mass media technologies such as the Gear VR/Oculus Rift, Google Daydream/Cardboard, HTC Vive, MS Hololens and their “immersive” effects on theater, games, news, and entertainment. NYC Media Lab Executive Director Justin Hendrix will open the day with a panel focused on advertising.
